As most people probably know by now, I am currently working on the Alchemy Escutcheon Shield. Farming the spheres is a ridiculously time-consuming process, so I am asking for help to make it a little faster. I will be willing to help others with farming spheres for their shields after I'm finished.

Right now, I need Induration and Impaction Spheres the most, but any type of sphere will be useful.

What people need to help farm spheres:
-The stage 3 version of the shield (xxx Shield) completed
-Bring up Craftsmanship to 100% for the fourth stage, then talk to Mewk Chorosap for the Reassembling Technique KI.

-While it is not necessary, having at least two characters can speed up farming significantly (one character kills things, the other synths), and three characters makes it even faster for some areas.
-Also, having Moghancement: Desynthesis on the character who's doing the synthing is SUPPOSED to help lower the insane break rate. Not sure if it actually does…

Areas to farm spheres: (Note that each T1 will HQ into its corresponding T2s and T3s - Liquefaction can HQ into Fusion/Light, for example)

Induration Sphere - Crawlers' Nest - Synthesizing Exoray Mold (using Lightning Crystals) dropped from Exorays.
Spawn locations: Easiest way to first map spot is Survival Guide. Easiest way to second map spots is Voidwatch warp (Jeuno -> Crawlers' Nest Entrance).






Impaction Sphere - The Eldieme Necropolis - Synthesizing Ancient Papyrus (using Wind Crystals, NOT Lightning!) dropped from Liches.
Spawn locations: To get to NW spot with 8 Liches on the first map, Voidwatch warp to Beaucedine then turn around to enter Batallia. Entrance you want is marked 7 on BGWiki map, at (F-6). All other locations are reached from Survival Guide.






Liquefaction Sphere - Garlaige Citadel - Synthesizing Bomb Coal (using Lightning Crystals) dropped from Explosures.
Spawn locations:




Liquefaction, Detonation, Scission, and Reverberation Spheres - Palborough Mines - Synthesizing Quadav Fetich Arms/Legs/Head/Torso (using Lightning Crystals for all) dropped from Quadav (Greater, Onyx, and Veteran Quadav have better drop rates, though Old, Copper, and Brass Quadav can also drop)
Spawn locations: Use the Home Point warp.

Map 2 (Amber, Amethyst, and Young Quadav do NOT drop these):

Map 3 (where the HP is located): …Basically the entire map. All Quadav on this floor can drop them.


Transfixion and Compression Spheres - Nothing good, yet. Will edit this after the update to (hopefully) include new spots where these drop.

Obviously Palborough is the best, being able to yield all T2/T3 spheres and 4/8 of the T1s, but it is usually occupied. Whatever spheres you can get though, I'll gladly take.

Once I'm finished with the shield, I'll be able to make Amalric/Carmine+1 VERY easily, and be much more likely to synthesize Pinga/Ratri+1 and Raetic Algol+1 for LS mates. I'll also be able to help out others with their shields, as there is 0 chance I'm doing more than one.

It help us a lot with the game. This is indeed good tips! One of the original game you can get now. Lot of them now just revise the mechanics and graphics just to make it look like a new game but not. If you're tired playing games, why not get a new car in carvana. Just a suggestion. It's up to you if you want.
